About the Product

Netflix is a popular streaming service that allows users to watch TV shows, movies, documentaries, and more online. It offers an extensive content library with thousands of titles that can be instantly streamed in high definition. It is one of the leading internet entertainment services, providing on-demand streaming media to a large global audience through a wide variety of devices. Its large content library, original programming, and recommendations system make it popular among viewers.

Key Function of Netflix:

Streaming video content - This is the core function of Netflix. It allows users to stream TV shows, movies, documentaries, comedy specials and more on-demand. Content can be streamed across devices like smart TVs, phones, tablets, game consoles, etc.
Personalized recommendations - Netflix's algorithms analyze a user's viewing history and preferences to provide customized recommendations for new content they may enjoy. This helps users discover new content.
Profiles - Viewer profiles allow different users of an account to have their own watch history, recommendations, etc. Profiles can be made for kids too.
Offline viewing - Users can download select movies/shows to watch offline when the internet connection is poor or unavailable. Useful for planes, commutes, etc.
Multiple streams - Most plans allow for simultaneous streams on different devices so family members can watch different things.
Watch lists - Users can bookmark movies and shows they want to watch later in their watch list
